An itinerary of great interest and artistic landscape, as reported in cycling even though very little truth deserves this attribute, the car traffic is anything but small and the area of Mira decidedly heavy; a path ultimately not very relaxing for the cyclist which must always keep our guard high.
The place of departure may be Venice or Padova; from the train station of Padua takes on the deep left lane Tommaseo which then becomes Venice will continue straight until the road now ristrettasi to one lane of salt sull'argine Piovego channel; take the road Alzaia on the left channel and you pedal for about 3 km asphalted then sterrati first (in good condition) of PD up to where it passes in front of the villa Giovannelli. A Noventa we pass the bridge over the canal and continue sull'argine right, asphalt for just over a km, then dirt (in poor condition with many holes).
Sull'argine The road leads us directly to Stra where you pass a bridge on the left and you arrive directly in front of the Villa Foscarini-Rossi, then take the road to the right of Naviglio del Brenta and shortly after you are in front of the Villa Pisani's largest and one of the most famous Venetian villas.
Continue along the road that runs right the ship, also reported by yellow signs cycle, in truth rather cryptic, showing only the number of your route, claiming that the cyclist knows the difference between Route 1 and 2 ...
As mentioned at the beginning this is not also true of a cycle path, traffic is lower than the highway that runs the other side of the ship, but it is supported and the rider must be very careful.
The road continues along the Brenta of ships crossing the countries of Dolo, Mira and Oriago; Mira agrees to make a small detour to see the barchessa Villa Valmarana.
At the end Oriago after the road ends on trafficatissima via Romea, the cross and take the road Malcontenta for where the left is the Villa Foscari a masterpiece of Palladio. From here you can divert up to a Fusina, where there is a landing with dell'ACTV boats line for Venice; clear in recent days, you have a nice view over the lagoon and Venice.
After the Malcontenta it leads the boulevard Brothers Flag Marghera crossing that leads us directly to the state for Venice, just after a viaduct is a bike path that runs right along the main road to the buildings of Venice Fairs. Here it is taking the road that runs along the port and that the state riconfluisce few hundred meters before the bridge of Liberty which is flanked by a narrow cycle lane, riding on which you come to Venice (Piazzale Roma or to where we Tronchetto you can embark on the Lido).
