Here is a cycling route from Padua to Monselice in part on real bike path, partly on local roads little busy, and the other hand, less cycle, with departure and arrival in Monselice us in two of the most popular Euganean Hills, Arquà Petrarca and a villa Barbarigo Valsanzibio.
Place of departure the train station in Padua. Crossing the square is a bike path, turn left and follow along to a channel, hence it takes to the city center, will arrive on Via Cavour and take toward the south (left), moving next to Pedrocchi historic cafes and outlet in the meadow of the valley, here to take the road to Ahipara at the bottom of the large square, to the south, leaving the town along a stretch along a canal, turn left and right after you pass the channel takes to right a metal bridge and then a left on the street, which ends immediately with a barrier that marks the beginning of a dirt bike path along the canal Battaglia, about 3 km long, the end is brought to a close street asphalt that continues along the canal, the good news here is that the road is asphalted, the bad is that it is open to motor traffic, although a sign warns that the movement is limited to frontisti; unfortunately we are in Italy, no one cares about to enforce this rule, the motor traffic is reduced, but anything that does not exist and on a street so narrow is a discreet danger for cyclists who must keep our guard high.
At the beginning of the road asphalt are on the right Villa Molin will continue for about ten miles to the entrance of the castle of Catajo. From here begins a stretch of true bike path recently restored to the country of Battaglia Terme, here is a possible detour to a Valsanzibio Barbarigo Villa.
Passed the Battle of inhabited continue ciclopedonale dirt road closed to motor traffic. In the first section you see left on a hill the villa Wild. The trail stops for through a local road that in 5 km (right) leads to Arquà Petrarca in the Euganean Hills.
The track resumed immediately after crossing the border and the Palladian Villa Emo, on a dirt but in good condition and pedals. In the end, leads the way to Trieste e Trento Monselice bearing on the right at the train station.
